Can you pull out the "tabs" and have them floating as opposed to pinned or docked, just like you can with regular web browsers?
Mac: Any Tab can be undocked from the unified window, therefore you can have the main framed window in full screen mode (or not, as you wish) and any number of undocked windows on a separate display.

No, on Windows the various Viewpoint Windows must still be located within the ARCHICAD application Window and you cannot drag them out of its perimeters like you can do on the Mac.
laszlonagy wrote:This is what I was asking for clarity on.
The TAB bar is basically a horizontal bar that can be turned on or off and that provides fast access and various options to the open Viewpoints. Besides that the behavior of Viewpoints' Windows within the ARCHICAD application Window has not changed on Windows.

Also all open windows (even if minimised) will always show in the tab bar. And you have the option to hide the tab bar if you want.
I was asking WITHIN the ArchiCAD window frame (obviously on a single monitor or display), are all the windows/views locked on to the Tab Bar, or can we still minimize (section/elevation/worksheet etc)windows or have them in the background or are they now all forced and locked on to the Tab Bar by default and with no alternative.
Do you understand what I mean?
