ArchiCAD 17 Hotfix-1 (Build 3013) for BIM Server and ArchiCAD has been released today for the INT, USA and GER language versions. This hotfix solves the problem due to which CodeMeter license borrowing hasn't been yet available for ArchiCAD 17. Besides it also provides solution to important editing, file saving and Teamwork problems.

You can find a list of fixed bugs in the release notes:

Am I up-to-date or should build 3013 be updating 3002?

1) Installed AC17USA from a disk that arrived today.
2) Both AC & server show build 3002, or from the get info for AC, "17.0.0 v1 INT (3002)"
3) Selecting check for updates says both AC and Library are up-to-date (though it was exactly as from the disk).
4) The link you supply speaks of applying this hot fix to build 3002 or above in the library update portion.

Thanks in advance.

Dear MSotero,

Currently ArchiCAD 17 Hotfix 1 (build 3013) for INT, GER and AUT versions are on the market, the USA Hotfix 1 has been recalled. So if you have ArchiCAD 17 USA version (build 3002) installed, your ArchiCAD is up-to-date.
If you have ArchiCAD 17 INT (build 3002) installed on your computer, please update your library first to build 3100, then apply the general hotfix (build 3013).
The "Check for Updates" in the Help menu always shows when a new update is available for your ArchiCAD.

I hope it helps. Please let me know if you have questions.

Katalin,

About those of us who updated to 3013 USA. What should we be on the lookout for? Data Loss, crashes, TW errors?

Hi Eduardo,

The ArchiCAD 17 Hotfix 1 (build 3013) was recalled because of this issue: http://archicadwiki.com/Troubleshooting/WindowPlacement

Today we've released the new Hotfix 1 for USA version as well: http://www.graphisoft.com/downloads/archicad/hotfixes/AC17/AC17-3002to3013-ReleaseNotes.html

In case you have already updated your ArchiCAD 17 for 3013, change the build number of ArchiCAD to 3002 in the ProductVersion.xml file like this: <buildnumber>3002</buildnumber>
It enables you to install the new ArchiCAD 17 hotfix 3013 again.
You can find the xml file here: /Applications/Graphisoft/ArchiCAD 17/ProductVersion.xml on Mac OS X, or in Program Files\GRAPHISOFT\ArchiCAD 17\ProductVersion.xml on Windows.

Please note that the Library Hotfix 1 also needs to be applied.

This process should be applied for ArchiCAD 17 only. If the BIM Server is already on build 3013, you don't need reinstall it.

Hi Dennis,

Please make sure you have administrator rights on the computer.
If you still cannot modify the ProductVersion.xml file, please reinstall your ArchiCAD and update it with the latest hotfix.

Please let me know if you have further questions.
