Is that still possible in version 9.0?

take a look at the various parameter options in sect/elev/detail marker objects. as far as scripting your own marker objects to take advantage of this, i can't help: i'm GDL hopeless . . .

That's not entirely true. "PMAshNo" is simply filler text that the markers put in to tell you that Plotmaker is going to fill them in automatically. The text could say anything. For example, our custom markers say <Drawing> and <Sheet>.
