Hi!
Sorry for the newbie question, but i know there is an efficient way to do this but i just dont know it.
Say i want to move an object (tap) aligned with the middle point of the inner edge of the sink, whats the best way? I can get middle point snap previews on walls or cabinets, but not on the inner lines of the sink, for instance.. I know it has something to do with the snap method, but i find it strange it does not recognize the inner lines of the sink in order to create that middle snap point.

Objects wont have snap points along their edges (midpoint, divisions, distance, etc.) simply because they are objects.
However, they will have scripted nodes and bounding nodes that you can snap to.
Select the sink and see if there are any nodes in the middle of the bowl.
If so, drag your tap holding SHIFT to constrain the direction and click on the node - you have to remember where it was unless you have marked it with a snap guide.
Or, exactly how accurate do you need it, just drag it so it looks OK.

HI @Zendrix,
In addition to the previous mentioned solution by Barry there's an alternative one you can use for now, you can explode the object while keeping the original element without exploding then you can get the desired location using lines.

Thank you both for the answers. I
In this specific case there was no reference point in the middle of the bowl, hence my difficulty. So the solution would be to make a copy of the original and explode one of them, right?

Yes, or even go to Edit + Explode & check the mark for keep original element then sure delete it later.

Try Opening. the "Drafting Aids" toolbar. The item - Snap Point Constraint - can help you find almost any point and drag that point to almost any other point. It uses the Snap Point settings and they can be changed from the first action to the second action.
Best hidden tool on the whole toolbar.

If the sink has a "Tap" option, that might generate a hostpot for you to snap to.
Ammending Barry's comment, objects can have midpoints and such if HOTLINES are scripted. Useful for elements that you want to snap to at odd angles. Few object would have these though as it doubles the required scripting for each edge you want...
