Can not add new element to cut with opening

Hi,

adding new elements to cut with opening seems to be not working in one of our files. 
It worked before. 
If I delete the cuts and try to redo the same again, it does nothing when I click on the + sign and then on the element (wall, slab doesn't matter).

New openings can only cut through one elment not multiple.
In our others files it works fine.
(Restart didn't help)

Am I missing something?

Does the cut extrusion setting affect it?

Ok, solved.
The problem was that I didn't click on the edge of the wall, only the side surface.
It gets highlighted both ways, but only works if you click on the edge...
