You can use the Distribute -1 action of the multiply command to center an element. (I think I can describe this without a picture.) To center an element between A & B:
1. Place the element at A.
2. Multiply. One copy, Distribute -1.
3. Click at A, then B.
4. Delete. This gets rid of the element at A, leaving the element halfway to B.
It helps in a lot of situations where the special snap points aren't cooperating.
It's especially useful to center something in a box: Place at one corner, multiply to the opposite corner. Great for downlights in coffers on the ceiling plan.
Begging your pardon if this really obvious,

This is probably very basic to veteran CAD drafting people, but I just recently noticed it...

especially for the cases when you need to lock a coordinate, and the Special snap point still gets confused (this was reported in 7 ...)
