License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Color fills in composites

Anonymous
Not applicable
Just switched from Rel 15 to Rel 18 and find the edit dialogue for composites is dramatically different.

I'm trying to change the background colour of the fill of one of the elements, but can't find any way to do this.

Are the material/fill combinations edited elsewhere, and if so, where?

Okay - so I've discovered Building Materials

However, the HELP dialogue tells me I should go to:

Options > Element Attributes > Building Materials

But in my implementation the 'Building Materials' option doesn't exist.

Any clues?

Okay - managed to restore 'Building Materials' through Work Environment.

I figure it must have got deleted when I imported my old profile.

Problem solved.

It might be a good idea for you to watch all the new feature clips for AC 16, 17 and 18. They should take a few hours only and get you up to speed on what changed.
Here:

https://www.youtube.com/user/Archicad/playlists?sort=dd&view=1

you can find all the playlists on the ArchiCAD YouTube channel. Watch any playlist the name of which starts with "ArchiCAD 16 New Features" or "ArchiCAD 17 New Features" or "ArchiCAD 18 New Features".
