Color in Elevations??

Dear people

I saw a demonstration of Softcad's Architech.PC.
One thing I liked is that when you create an elevation the application can automatically apply colors to walls, windows, doors etc. depending on the material you have applied to these objects.
Can this be done in ArchiCAD?
Maybe this should go to the wishlist?

Is it possible to use the front view when in 3D perspective with hidden line projection?
The results are pretty much the same with what I saw in Softcad's presentation only that their result was printable.

This is also printable; save the 3D view of your leevation, and include it in the Publisher set for printing, or, better, put into PlotMaker. Depending on the complexity of the view, it might take some time to generate.

I thought of that and I saved it as Plotmaker Layout Book if I remember correctly. When I opened it in Plotmaker the Plot and Print options were "ghosted".Did I do something wrong? And what about scale? Can I plot it at certain scales or is it "What you see is what you get?"

Save it as a view, and place it in the layout book. If it is from an analytic or OpenGL 3D window, a parallel view, then yes, it is to scale. Perspective views are, of course, not.

HTH!
