I have a building that, when exported to IFC, the roof changes colour. But not to all planes (See picture)
Rightmost picture is from AC25 3D-view, leftmost is from Solibri. How come all but one have changed color?
All the planes are based on the same "setup"

I am guessing the large Roof is created using the Multi-plane geometry method, while those two gray Roof elements were done using the Single-plane geometry method. That could be a difference and that may somehow affect the IFC output.

The roof that differs in color is made using this method:
And it is the same tool I've used on both sides. But it is only one of them that is acting up....

In you check these Roofs in Solibri, are there any differences in their settings? Are they classified the same in Archicad? Do they belong to the same IFC Type in Solibri? Does one have a Surface Override defined in Archicad, while the other one doesn't?

They all have the same classification, they all have the same surface override.

As i experienced, if an element has more than one surface color, the largest surface color will be applied to the ifc element when exporting.

I think this is a limitation of IFC rather than a bug in AC.
I had a similar issue with doors being random colours from the palette that was used for different elements of those doors and as I understood IFC3 can only have one colour per element and IFC4 is far from being a standard yet.
If all you want is a colour correct 3D model to share, perhaps a BIMx will work?

Guys,
Just checking if setting this field to either of the two "Explode" options makes any difference in this situation. See image.
This field applies only to IFC2x3.
