Is there a reason why the settings for Custom affect the Rectangular and Circular Options?

I don't know how you got this behavior, I cannot reproduce it.

I just tried to reproduce it and I can't. I originally saw this behavior in the computers of one of my students and then I was able to duplicate it on my machine. Curiouser…
Could have been a library issue?

I don't see how the libraries would affect a tool that does not use library parts, I would be more suspicious of a Complex Profile. Or maybe the computer just hiccuped.

I agree that the library should not be the culprit but the reason I listed it was that that is what changed after I took the screen shots. Before the update I was able to duplicate the problem.
The hiccup occurred in two different comps, one windows one mac, both using the same template file for the project. So your theory of a complex profile being the real culprit sounds more reasonable. I'll see if I can get the error again at the University Lab.

This was a bug in the US template, which was corrected in the build 2420 Hotfix#3. (The most recent Hotfix is #4, build 2523). Your student's ArchiCAD was probably not up-to-date.

That makes more sense.
Thanks
