License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Confused Library parts

Brad Elliott

We have multiple computers working on files and all using library's loaded off the server. So everyone is using the exact same library. Sometimes on only one computer the office the library parts load as the wrong ones. IE The toilet part loads as a sofa part. The grid part as a car, etc. If you open the part it is the right name but the object is wrong. Usually closing the file and reopening it works to fix it but it is an unusual annoyance. Any Ideas? The file is in 8.1.

Where I work we also load off the server, and have never ran across this problem. Maybe you should uninstall/reinstall AC on that machine..
Thanks,

Try deleting the ArchiCADGdlBinCode.dat file in the Home/Library/Caches/Graphisoft/ArchiCAD Cache Folder/AC 8.1.0 v2 or AC 9.0.0 USA v1 folder (depends what you use). Maybe you have a corrupt cache of the libraries.

If you are using satelite library, clear that too. (If you have seleceted to 'use a local copy (satellite)' in Library Manager/Library Cache Settings

Thanks for the suggestion. We tried that and it didn't work. We aren't using the Satellite library.
