SEO may be a good solution for complex situations or could have been a solution .
But for this case and taking into consideration that many of us, I think, work in 3d. there is a need for a simple profile modifications: with same edit tools which we have in plan ( move a vertex, an edge ou curve an edge ) but on the vertical direction.
I find myelf using more and more the morph tool to create some profiles as it can be manipulated in 3D for quick mass studies . but I really wish it could be the case for the wall tool ( edit and even divide in 3d )

Indeed. I find the SEO system very robust though, and it is usually faster than morphs. With the use of morphs it is hard to quantize elements (identifying becomes tiresome), with SEO the original volumes, areas would be modified as well.
I could see potential in an editing system from the pet palette (“edit SEOs for element”) similar to the curtain wall editor: you can adjust the basic shape with a reference line, but get a clear view on all the operations under the hood if you choose so.
But what happens when a lot of elements are used as targets? I have no idea.
