Curtain Wall Tool

I have recently started using the Curtain Wall tool and have a question: After inserting a panel and defining it as a door, is there a way to delete the segment of the boundary frame under the panel/door? Thanks.

Hi there,
This is what you will need to do:
  • 1. Select the curtain wall and edit it,
    2. Now select the piece of frame on the boundary that you want to "delete"
    3. Go to the Info Box, and: Change it's Width to 0, and the slot dimension (the gap between panels) to 0 too,
    4. Then select the Type to Invisible.
All of this will adjust the base of the Door to the outer edge of the Curtain Wall. You also may want to adjust the intersection priorities of the lateral Mullions, I bet you can figure that out.
It's always recommendable to save that setting to Favorites, so you can apply it in the future with one single click
