Curtain Wall: changes in Editing mode not showing up in model: AC22

Hello,
This is my first post to the community, but have been appreciating reading the archives as I've been learning ArchiCAD slowly as our office considers a software transition. Thank you!

I am editing curtain walls, and there seems to be an occasional glitch between the Editing mode (Edit_Curtain Wall Settings_Scheme) and then what shows up once I "Exit Editing Mode". I keep trying to make a glass panel 6' tall, and it looks good in the Editing Mode, and then when I exit Editing mode, it is showing up as 8' tall. Or I delete an entire column of panels in the scheme, but it is still there when I exit Editing mode. Or I modify the overall width in Editing mode and it doesn't show up when I exit Editing mode.

Does anyone have this problem, too? Or, any suggestions?

Check your MVO? I have not used them so I am not sure if they follow the MVO. MVOs are saved per view, so it maybe what is cause it to appear inconsistent.

The CW can be a powerful tool but it also has some oddness in editing. I have advised GS of some of these. It is a tool you need to "learn" and given some of the things that can be asked of it, it can be quite robust once mastered even though sometimes results can be unforeseen due to conflicts between "Scheme" and in place editing.

To answer you question: Yes it can be problematic.
Tip: If you are working with "Schemes" it can sometimes be easier just to retain the settings (use Alt-Clk if the values aren't current in the CW tool) and redraw the curtain wall.

Thank you for the replies! I've been able to work around the glitches thus far. I did not know about the Retain Settings shortcut-- I will keep that in my back pocket. 😃
