Custom Brick Pattern staggered?

how do I get rid of that vertical line that's being created when I copy/paste the linework into the "fill editors dialogue" box?
I "almost" have the pattern created properly but....there seems to be some proportion/scale issue that it creates this "vertical line" where I don't need it.

Hey Rob,

I created something that looks a little like your draft.

I used lines and one hotspot in the bottom right, the pink linework next to it is the resulting fill.

The 'trick' is to break up your pattern in to a little 'rectangle', rather than a bunch of staggered bricks. Think of it as cropping a picture of the brick bond to get a repeating texture.

I have no idea where the line is coming from either though...

Hope my method helps you!

I drew the shape on the left at the origin (0,0) starting bottom left.
(The blue lines)

Just use line tool and put one hotspot in the bottom left corner of that shape. That might not even be needed, actually, but I used it.

I can't seem to get what you have recreated.
I keep getting this "vertical" line where I don't want it.

I've added the lines to module file in attachment.

I'm not using US version of ArchiCAD though, so I would suggest opening it in a new window, rather than your existing project (it might mess with your attributes).

ok....so I was able to get it.
I can't seem to explain "how" I got it...but it appears that it something to do with the "repeat" square that's being highlighted in "yellow" in the editor window.
very confusing.
