Hi all!
I am working on some custom glass wall system. The mullions (as beams) will be connected by making facade cuts, just like a regular glass-wall system. I am quite new to Archicad. Would it be possible to make integrated cutouts by using complex profiles?
I tried finding solutions on the internet, only managed to use Solid Element Operations, but wasn't able to get the intended cut. Would be great if someone could give me the information if it would be possible, and if so, how! 🙂

It sounds like you are modelling a curtain wall with beams and columns.
There is a literal Curtain Wall tool. It's not perfect for minute details, but it might get you close enough to what you want to achieve.

Hi there Erwin, thanks for your reply! I have tried using the existing curtain tool. Unfortunately it does not bring the detail I need for my projects.

You can create your own profiles as Complex Profile and use those if needed.
I would consider your output scale though and what level of detail is actually needed, before making your model heavy on polygons.
