Cut fills and beams that melt together

Kamelite
Expert
How do I make the end of those beams in the Picture appear as the individual pieces they are, instead of a uniform mass of Wood? Both in terms of having individual cut fills, but also the fact that whn I Place two beams next to each other, they seem to blend together into one.

Thnx!

They are combining together because you have the each beam set to the same material or same cut fills. You'll have to change each beam to a different material or cut fill than it's neighbor. This may mean that you'll need to duplicate materials in the Material manager or the Fill manager so you will have enough to go around.

There is something similar in the Complex Profile Manager when you make a complex profile. Make sure separate pieces are different fills so they don't merge when the profile is extruded.
