Dado on outer wall

I've been looking around for an adequate tutorial for this but on the edge of giving up.. What I want to do is to add a dado to an outer wall (same as in the attached picture). Where is the settings for this?

1000 thanks!

I think you can do that in at least three different ways:
  • If you want a dado area to be an integral part of the wall — it can be accomplished by creating a profile in Profile Manager and assigning that profile to a wall in question.
  • Alternatively, a dado can be done (in a much more limited way) with a old ARCHICAD Goodie add-on called "Accessories". It will be an object attached to the wall rather than an integral part of the wall.
  • In a very basic form you can also do a dado with a special window object called "Lesene 19" (in the INT version of ARCHICAD, not sure about Swedish Version).

I like making profiles with Profile Manager and assigning them to the wall — gives more flexibility.
