Hello, AC26 Mac Silicon has a bug when searching for materials.
Also, some buttons are invisible:

Last time I checked Revit isn't available for macOS so that isn't a valid comparison.
The point is, I would imagine there are many AC users on macOS that use Dark Mode permanently or intermittently and AC should be able to seamlessly switch between modes. It is an integral part of the OS and an accepted part of development requirements for macOS software. So how after all this time can GS still justify this messy implementation?

Laszlo quoted you, so I assumed it was you reply he was talking about.

Ah, yes, I see he bolded my comment. A misunderstanding as I was talking about Mac apps (which Revit is not) that fully support Dark Mode. But still, to have that in "beta mode" for three releases when dark mode support on MacOS is nearly ubiquitous is a shame. Especially when the few flaws of dark mode have been reported in beta testing.

Romans, and all,
Yes, I responded to Rex's comment specifically.
Maybe for Emre, Rex, and others, it was obvious that you guys are talking about the macOS platform. I did not pick that up, so I was thinking of Dark Mode in general, regardless of platform, hence my comment.
My comment was not aimed at implying that this is not an important issue. However, after I forwarded the issue to Graphisoft, there is not much else I can do to influence how and when it will be dealt with.

Thanks for forwarding the issue Laszlo. There are a few other bugs in regards to the dark mode, and I hope the ones I pointed out somehow can get GS to look further into polishing them out.

Hi Laszlo,
Thank you for addressing the problem with GS. It is indeed an issue that needs to be fixed since it is frustrating the user experience and therefore productivity.

Thanks Lazslo. I didn't perceive your comment as anything more than it was either, which was simply stating that Revit did not have dark mode.
Thanks for reminding R&D of this issue.

Yes, there are others. I notice when you "switch" to dark mode while ArchiCAD is running, a lot of the text in the navigator, like item names, stay black against the dark background. But if you quit while in dark mode, then relaunch ArchiCAD as it will boot up in dark mode, then the navigator items appear fine.
