I am working in AC11 on a file that was orginally started in AC6.5. After bringing it into AC11, there was only one pen set available (the one I had used in AC6.5 in 1999).
I tried to use attribute manager to bring in new pen sets from a template file, but all it allows me to do is to overwrite the one pen set that I have. It won't allow me to create a new set.
The only workaround I have found to create a new set is to change any pen definition in the pens and colors dialog box. After changing something, I am allowed to save a new set with a new name. After I do this, then I can go to attribute manager and overwrite the temporary set I just created with the standard set I want to use.
This seems like a very clunky way to do things. Is there a better way to append a new pen set to an existing file, without removing the pen sets that are already there?
