So in a case of new design scenario where the story heights must be altered, there is no option other than create a new file, as all the previous design options will be affected. Just wondering whether I am missing something🤔........Usually I am not.😁

No you are not missing anything.
A file can only have one set of storey heights.
It is not included as a possible design option.
It is the same with modules, they have to suit the current storey settings (or ignore them completely).
Maybe it should be a wish, but I am not sure how it would work.
Barry.

Link the Storey Settings to Design Options? So that you can assign an option to your level variations?

Yes!! I am still trying to figure out the domino effect of this!!!!!
Changes in section/elevation levels, floor cut planes, schedules, elements top/low height, level dimensions.................................................................
I guess Musk's XAi would have be intergrated in Archicad!!!!😄
