Elevated my building, but doors and windows did not move up

Hello,

I'm trying to place my building onto it's site and having issues with the doors and windows not moving with the building.

I first drew my building, then the site, then selected everything (except the mesh site) and elevated the building so that the first floor is at the proper elevation relative to sea level.

How do I get the doors and windows to move up with the building?

• Before moving the Buildings
• Select either all doors or all window in the project. In the 3D window
• Open the settings of the selected and change their "Anchors" to be either "Sill or Header to Wall Base" instead of to Story.

Obviously do a Save prior to doing these changes just in case.

Thanks for your reply. I tried what you suggested - it worked for the doors, but for some reason my first floor windows kept ending up at the second floor. In the ended I just ended up moving the site/mesh down......

Usually moving the mesh is the correct procedure.

How are you setting your project elevation?

I set my project's main story elevation to 0' (in Story Settings) and then set the sea level elevation in Project Settings.
Easier to elevate the mesh,... not the building.
