Elevation Dimensions associated in all Sections/Elevations

Hi,
Is it possible to use Elevation Dimensions in one Section window and copy/paste to other Sections/Elevations windows while having the association attached to elements hot spots. I find my self constantly inputing the same Elevation Dimensions on different Sections/Elevations with little change.
Thanks,

What I do is place elevation lines in the Section/Elevation windows of my template. They are already dimensioned and grouped with text, so that the user only has to move these lines into position and they're set.

You can't just copy associative dimensions from window to window.

Thanks Link,
And is there a way of associating dimensions to element?
Thanks,

Sure - just dimension to it!

And if you click on a node, while in the Arrow tool, and hold it down, the dimensioned element will highlight. This is applicable in any window, but I have shown it in the Elevation window.......

Thank you again for the tip, but I was after knowing if a string of dimensions are not associated; can they be associated to new elements?
Thanks,
Joseph

As Link said, re-dimension. The association can also be "refreeshed" by copying the dimension line, pasting it in place (if the section is looking the same direction it is done automatically, if it is the oppposite direction just mirror with the origin as the beggining of the mirror line), select and CTRL click on the elements you want to associate with.

Djordje,
I tried it but, all this action (select the dimension sting Cmd+click the element for association) does is to creates another dimension right on top of the old one which is associated, but the old one is still life less. I thought it would "refreshed" the original copy paste dimension, am I correct or I am missing a step?
Thanks,
Joseph
