Entering X/Y coordinate tip

When entering both X and Y distances into Archicad, do you have a habit of typing a comma in between them, instead of X and Y?

Here is a tip: You can re-assign the "comma" key to be a shortcut to the "Y" coordinate, so typing "4,3'" would actually enter 3' into the Y coordinate box. (OK, you can call me insane if you want to, but I like it!!)

I'm not going to do it, but that's awesome sideways thinking.

It is good lateral thinking (not insane at all), but isn't that as fast as typing 4y3?

yes, it is as fast, but a lot of new users have to overcome the habit of typing the comma in between X and Y coordinates.

It also helps guys like me who write a lot of GDL code, and type a lot of "X,Y" format coordinates 😉

Gotcha! Didn't think you'd overlook it, unless there was something specific to the comma.

That'll teach you for messin' with GDL!
