Explore will not work in 27 3D Window

Just downloaded 27 - in 3D window orbit tool works fine but Explore button is grayed out and will not work. Have hit escape key but it will not allow access to Explore key. Ideas? Please.

it's me -- figured out my own problem -- Explore doesn't work in Axo views
