Exporting layers to other files. HOW?

Is there a way to export selected layers (and possibly merging them into one) ? I have tried the Element Attribute options but I only seems to export empty files. Am I doing something wrong or there is no way to do it?

Thanks

Hi Paopao
Exactly what do want to export and to what?
Are you exporting to another ArchiCAD file or another software?

If you want to export layer definitions, use the attribute manager. If you want to export the content on particular layers:
1. Turn on what you want - turn off everything else
2. Use the thick marquee to select everything
3. Go to File > External Content > Save selection as module

You can then open and save as a pln, or import into another file and break the link.

To merge layers, just delete one, and you will be asked which layer to place the content onto.

I need to exchange layers between Archicad files.

Thanks! That may be the procedure I am after! I am going to try it.
