Field of View in 3D Editor and 3D Documents

Is it possible to change the FOV in the 3d Editor and in 3d Documents?

How about in the modeler perspective view?

What is preventing you from moving your camera backwards? If anything, I'd say your article runs counter to your argument. There is no cropping when rendering. "You are wanting a 14mm FoV from a 50mm lense. You are standing to close".
Some people might argue that the focal length impacts distortion indirectly, because a wider lens requires one to get closer to the subject to keep the same framing on the subject. That’s definitely true...

Personal taste, but I don't get the urge to show a client 3D renders of their bathroom or other small spaces, when you wouldn't be able to snap a photograph showing the whole thing either. Do some interior elevations of those rooms.

If it is a space like a living room, you should be able to get a decently framed shot off, as long as your goal isn't to somehow show the whole room. Again, good luck doing that with a photo too.

70 degree angle still is somewhat ok to use for interior shots, but that is pushing it already with the distortion.
