I've been using fills in a ArchiCAD11 project from start to finish.. but I've noticed that the patterns are very small.. and if I zoom in they remain the same size.. In Element Attributes>Fills, they're all set to "scale independent" but I've tried switching it to "scale with plan" but there's absolutely no difference.
I've also tried using a gradient fill, but when I try to rotate the handle in order to set it, it won't do a thing.. It only shows the "Cover Fill Pen" (Also all the settings below are faded out in "linear fill properties"). I have a hunch that this behavior also has something to do with the fact that all the fills have very small patterns.

David
Go to View > On Screen View Options and check the "Vectorial fills" option. It sounds like your fills are displaying in bitmap mode.
