I've been trying to fine tune my pen sets, and I've noted that the attribute manager gives a useful little tick to show whether a pen is being used in a specific project, which has been very useful.
As a part of that process, I saw that a pen is ticked that shouldn't be, and I'm now trying to find the rogue element(s) that is/are using that pen.
It seems impossible!
I've searched all views, turned on all layers, zoomed to "fit in window", used the "Find & Select" pen option, all to no avail. I even defined a custom pen set where everything is white, and that one pen is pink.... still can't see it.
Finally, as an experiment, I saved the project off to a new file and started deleting things....everything that's allowed to be deleted (master layouts, views, all building elements, text, fills, favourites, etc.)..., only to find the attribute manager is still showing ticks against quite a few pens, implying they're still being used somewhere (although a lot less ticks than before, as you'd expect)
What's going on? Are these pens actually being used somewhere? Am I wrong that the ticks mean the pen is "in use"? If not, how do I find where those pens ARE being used, because I'd like to make sure my pen sets are as robust as possible.
Thanks for any tips,
Chris
