For what it is worth ~ 15 bug ~ user origin not visible

This was the case in 14 too, and was not fixed, but confirmed. If you have the orbit mode selected, (the 3D window might be closed), and move the user origin you can't see that it moved until you zoom in or out. The moral of the story is to turn the orbit mode off when you are not using it.

The official conformation statement was "it's weird, I know":)

I don't know about platform specifics, but I'm on a Mac.

So, it's weird, but a pain unless you know what to do... maybe 16.

How about not using Orbit at all? Just hold down shift + mouse wheel to orbit in Edit mode.

Much faster.

Cheers,
Link.

I have the mouse "wheel" (not really a wheel ~ mighty mouse) set to display all windows. However ... I just discovered "o" does it. duh
