GRID tool - bottom extension

Hi!
I need help about the grid tool
In particular although I untick the bottom extension in section/elevation view it appears. I expect that the bottom part of the grid should not appear.
Actually the bottom circle and the name/number of the axis does not appear while the bottom line appears.
How to hiden the also the bottom line?

I always just stretch it down so it is off the page.

I am wrong 100% of the time when I try to uncheck the box I think will turn off the grid marker on the end I am trying to turn off. Even when I think to my self, just do it opposite of what you think would do the job. I am always wrong and have to do it twice.

Beware if your using grids and then saving the file as .dwg. They always appear distorted when viewing them in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, etc...
