Getting stair arrows and text to show properly

I have inserted a standard, straight run stair with the Stair Tool between a first and second floor. I know how to turn on the arrow and the text to say "UP" at the bottom of the stair, when seen on the first floor. When I view the stair on the second floor, however, I want the arrow to be reversed, and the text to show up at the top of the stair, saying "DOWN." Is this possible to do with a single stair object, and if so, how?

Thanks

As fas as I know this can't be done. I just turn off the arrow and dray a line and a circle to show as I want. I don't know if ArchiStair can do that either.

Same here. Turn off text and arrow and type in/draw in what you want. The arrow always points up with stairmaker.
