Grid system dimensions vs polyline dimensioning

I was tidying up a project handed to me by drawing a polyline with exact measurements and pressing shift to get 90º corners to create the outer edge of the slab and found that when I overlaid the structural grid over the slab that the grid was not lining up with the slab/walls. Both methods of drawing I thought were accurate so what am I missing?

Set the dimension display to maximum amount of decimal point, high accuracy.

Put dimensions on both.
