Hatches arent lining up in 3D or Elevation View

Hello, I am wondering if anyone can tell me why my hatches are not lining up? They have the same surface material. Also, strangely the hatch/surface appears to be larger on the slab. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hello djstone1,

Did you try to select 3D elements from 3D view... then...

Go to Documentation/Create picture/Aligne 3D texture... and then...

One clic into 3D view

A big problem is software's lacking feature to match origin / rotation of textures between elements via eyedropper tool. You have to do it over and over again when splitting walls, moving elements and similar. Sometimes it's hard to pick the right point, without having to redo ALL elements which must have aligned textures.

As an additional tip, the view > on screen view options gives "wall and beam reference lines"; which puts that annoying tick mark in plan. But that tick mark shows the direction of the walls beams (drawn clockwise vs counterclockwise). Some surfaces don't like to align, no matter how much you try, if they are drawn opposite directions.
