Help Menu: Introduction to Object Making

Anonymous
Not applicable
In the ArchiCAD 9 Help there is a section titled Introduction to Object Making. I'd like to print this out to read at home.

At the end of the introduction David Nicholson-Cole writes, "We have provided this as a .PDF file, but we have designed it with chapters starting on odd numbered pages. This is to enable you to print out your own copy and run it off on a double sided photocopier if you wish to save paper."

Where can I find the PDF version of this section?

There are other sections of the help menu that I would like to print oyut to read at home. Are these files avalible as PDFs?

Thank you,
John

A tip to you and everyone else: Your AC 9 installation CD has quite a few PDF files with product documentation, including David's book. If you create a folder (if it does not exist) called "Documentation" under your AC 9 program folder, and copy all of these PDF's into it - they will all show up in your Help menu and be one click away. The 6 PDF manuals that are part of the US SE9 library should also be placed into this Documentation folder to be easily at-hand.

If you install the 2nd US CD (Training Guide), it does create the Documentation folder and copies the training PDF's properly. It is an installation flaw IMHO that the main installation does not install the PDFs.

International does; this is US only.

For all with Int version:

C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 9\Graphisoft Documentation

C: might be something else in your case - that is the drive where you installed the 9

Right ... I was speaking of the US version. Sorry for confusion to INT.

But, the above folder is wrong even for INT... the contents of that folder will not show up in the Help menu (unless INT does something different). You must rename it from "Graphisoft Docuementation" to "Documentation" and then the PDF's will appear under Help.
