Help needed to create new hatch pattern/texture

Excuse me can anyone help me to get this kind of hatch on elevation , as well as on 3D view.

I would like to have poured reinforced concrete, just like tadao ando's project as attached, exactly like this effect. (I now can have concrete but just showed in grey colour without holes on it)

waiting your reply online, hope a solution in detail.

I have renamed your post from "Emergency" to something a little more meaningful just in case people in future want to search for a similar subject.

For the hatch you will need to creat a 'symbol fill'.
Draw the pattern with lines (not sure if you can use a circle so you may need to create the circles from say 32 line segments (magic wand settings)) and then copy.
Create a new symbol fill and paste in the lines.
There will be more info in the help file.

For the texture you can find these on-line or if you have a nice square image you could crop it from that or even take your own photo of similar concrete.
Once you have the image you want add it to a loaded Archicad library or embed it in the PLN through Library manager.
Then attach it to a material in the material settings (surfaces in 17).

It only took me a couple of minutes to search for 'concrete texture' on the internet and i got this texture.
I am sure there are others and probably better ones too.

Yes you can use circles in the copy & paste to create a symbol fill.

Here is the results - I didn't make the fill pattern match the texture exactly but it wouldn't be hard to do so.

Dear Barry:

Thanks for your kind replay, but I still cannot follow your step.....

For the hatch, you mean to say I need to draw to hatch in elevation myself in 2D in lines? (and what do you mean by 32 line segments?)

For the texture, how do you attach it to a material?

best,
richard

To create a custom fill (hatch) see in the Help files:
Documentation > Fills > Create or Edit Symbol Fill
then attach the Fill to the Surface in the Surface Settings dialog box.

Open the Surface Settings, and go to the Textures panel, in the Help files see:
User Interface Reference > Dialog Boxes > Surface Settings Dialog Box > Surface Texture Panel
