ok i believe to have looked everywhere @ every sub user interface and sub-user check box, color, cut/fill line, pen, every setting available and within every setting combination and layer unfortunately i can't seem to get my floor beams to show as hidden below my floor. the highlighted beams are shown in the attached.
Operating system used: Mac Intel-based Sonoma 14.4.1

Model view options, display order, beam settings all need to be juggled together. Here are the settings to get it to work on my end:

if you want them to show without a dash, you need to make sure the MVO is NOT set to 'hidden line under slab', then bring the beam forward by display order, or make the slab cover fill transparent or off

ok went through and compared, however can't get it to work. regardless Patrick thanks and i REALLY do appreciate your efforts! i am simply going to draw some dashed lines to show beams below. i have wasted way too much time on a task that thought would be simple.

ok let me pile it on...i have noticed that graphically items seem to regenerate after i save and re-open a file in ac27. here is a good example, after all of the hubaloo now i get what i was looking for however if i view my 1st floor windows they appear one way graphically and if i view the second floor windows they show differently. yet both are using the same dam scheme combination.
