Hotlinked module - rotation - (cover) fill orientation problem

Hello, everyone, from beginners to experts!

I have a project in which I've managed to use hotlinked modules for the first time. The hotlinked modules are modelled orthogonally, and then placed in a main file where they are rotated. How do I fix the rotation of (cover) fills? Is there a way for ArchiCAD to treat hotlink's origin and its rotation as origin for its fills, and not the main file's origin? I know I can probably manually edit every slab's fill and set its fill's origin and rotation, but I don't know how (or if) I can do it for the cut walls.

Ideally, it would be a switch somewhere - rotate all the hotlink's fills according to hotlink's rotation and position, but I can't seem to find it if it exists.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Rakurs,

For your walls go to Material Attribute Manager and change the fill origine of it's Material to "Element origine" (see atta

Yeah, having to set the Cover Fill Orientation for every coverfill used in a Hotlink adds a fair number of clicks. Might be worth a Wish.

While that would be helpful in some situations, it would also mess up many other views, and would add inconsistency to the way walls are represented, or, at least, how I would like them to be represented in my drawings. For example, complex profiles need the setting to be "project origin" to behave correctly in sections. Adding a bunch of materials for the purpose of showing them as wished is clunky and really not feasible, as it would mess up other things and raise the possibility of making display (and other) errors which are tough to diagnose.

I have done just that. Thanks for the suggestion.
