How can I create a roof like that?

Hello, i have a problem with the part of the roof marked with blue line. It is a triangular-shaped roof, which is tilted at a certain angle. How can I create a roof like that? If you need any more explaination, let me know and thanks in advance for all responses.

Because you don't know where the pivot (pitching) line needs to be in plan, try modelling the roof in 3D.

Hi @sandranshein

Try Geometry Method: Ruled from the Shell tool. Profiles can be easily edited in a 3D view.

then trace the outline in plan...

need to draw some guide lines in elevation to work out where it is, but relatively easy as you have already done it in blue.

remember that the pitching line is a horizontal line across the roof

in your case if you stat at the corner of the triangle at the adjoining building and then run it to the edge of the triangle, you will get the correct pitching line.

then use the "Change roof pitch" in 3d to get the correct angle.
