How do I change Pen widths from Pts to MM ??

I am using the US version of ArchiCAD 10 and I am working in the Imperial system, which can get a little confusing sometimes.

But one thing I want to change is the way that Pen thicknesses are shown in Pts rather than mm in the Settings dialogues.

I have no idea what a Point is, so I want to change this to millimeters.

How? Thanks

Both mm and points show up at the top of the pen selection pop up, see the image below.

A 'point' is a unit used in typography -- 72pts make an inch. That makes a point roughly 0.35mm.

BTW, aren't you already using point sizes on a daily basis for setting font sizes?
