I can't seam to get the patch-fill to align with the the wall materials "vectorial hatching". Their the same "fill type".
It would be so simple if you could use "Align 3D Texture: Set origin" in the Elevation view.
Know any work arounds???
Thanks
Marc

It would be so simple if you could use "Align 3D Texture: Set origin" in the Elevation view.I agree mate, it is considered a 3D view as far as transparency is concerned, so why not the 3D Texture? Anyway, you should be able to set the 3D Hatch origin in the 3D window, and then go to your section and relocate the fill handle to the same point (especially if that point is on a corner node of the wall).
See you soon.

Thanks Link:
I tried that........but it didn't work. Until.......
After much frustration.... I figured out that the fill/vectorial hatch applied to the wall's "material" was a mirror image of the patch fill. Kindawierd as they both use the same "fill" (stone pattern).
Maybe we'll be able to set origins in Elevation windows in AC X ??
Aloha is it?,
Marc

Try drawing your wall in the other direction mate!
Use 'Clean Beam & Wall Intersections' to check the direction.
Aloha in 3 weeks!! I'll catch a few waves for you!
Cheers,
