How to paint from bottom walls to ceiling?

Can Archicad paint from bottom walls to ceiling?

Because I want to get a actual interior painted area for estimate the cost, which means painting from the bottom wall to the ceiling. However, in Archicad, when I choose a surface for the wall, Archicad paints the entire area on one side of the wall that exceeding the height of the ceiling.

Does anyone have any other solutions or ideas?

Thank you.

I'd model it with two different walls, because the junction with the slab doesn't "split" the wall automatically, therefore its building materials and surfaces will stay the same,

A complex profile with a paint skin with a modifier to adjust the height.

Versions 6.5 to 27
i7-10700 @ 2.9Ghz, 32GB ram, GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB), Windows 10
Lenovo Thinkpad - i7-1270P 2.20 GHz, 32GB RAM, Nvidia T550, Windows 11

Or if your wall is a Composite with a finish skin, you could include an "air gap" material in your ceiling Composite that will remove the wall skin, though this will introduce a bunch of other annoyances..
