How to show Velcro in model ?

I need to show how two components of a tent of which join together by velcro. How can I ' draw ' velcro or something that represents the Velcro i.e the texture in ArchiCAD ?

Also, what is the best way of showing contours of a material. Imagine a tent ground sheet, it has creases near the joins etc. I'm guessing a mesh with a few points elevated to created a uneven surface and then just have the mesh set to smooth ?

Years ago Frank CHin made a tent object, but I don't know how to get it to work in 13.
Does anyone else?

Velcro,

You can make the seams using very short walls or even roofs. Roofs may have some advantage in that they will join and/or clean up in ways a wall can't. If you could show a picture of what you want to accomplish and to what level of detail you need it would be easier to make suggestions about how to model it.

You can make a Material/Texture of a canvas/tent surface the same way you would make what you need for the Velcro.
