License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

SOLVED!

How would you model a U stair with a landing that has two levels?

This would be the plan view. Shouldn't be hard but I can't get there.

It can also be placed with the baseline on the inside.

AC21 / 22? You should add you AC version and some computer specs to your signature for more accurate help.

If you set your reference line to follow each side of the dividing wall, you should get the divided landing by default.

Thank you for your response. AC22 / macOS High Sierra Late 2012

I tried what you said but it wouldn't even let me go around the wall, had to tweak the setting a bit, but this is as far as I can get. You can see the red lines where the stair is supposed to be

If you just shortened the left flight, you should be able to remove that length of landing before it. Setting a fixed tread depth may help in achieving this as the treads on your right flight will get shorter resulting in a gap at the top of the lower flight if you do not... In regards to the tread, to centre it, you will have to add an extra node with the flight set as a Landing. You will then have a node of which you can use to position the landing tread.

Try these settings.
Set the stair up with 2 winders and then use the pet palette to swap between flight and winder as you place the stair.

Thank you so much Barry.

It did work at the end but it is not that straightforward. I was using ARCHICAD Solo as I'm helping a friend that doesn't have Full. I went to AC Full and was able to manage faster to make your instructions work. Then I copy+pasted on Solo and it worked, ...I don't know if there is something in the initial settings for the object (in Solo) that messes up from the beginning. I will have to dig more into tutorials.

Thank you man!

Might it just be that your default stair rules are different to your friends? Solo / full should not make any difference with stairs as they are not related to teamwork or modules...

You may be right. I just thought it could be an issue because it is based on library objets and Full and Solo Libraries are not the same. ...which I found interesting.
