Have worked through Step-by-step No 17 and got to p101 "3. Edit the Window Schedule". Within the schedule, I can highlight rows and changed the ID. However 'Materials" and 'Finish" , in the same row, are not changeable (despite the instructions). I've searched for reasons but am stumped. Help!

Hi Kees,
I didn't install the s-by-s files to see if there is a bug in the sample files themselves ... but generally here is what I have observed: If you cannot edit any fields, then the layers that the objects are on are either locked or hidden. If you can edit some fields but not others, then the objects are not 'compatible' ... that is, either some of the objects do not have the field that you are trying to edit, or they have the field but use a different variable name for it (usually happens when combining old parts with new parts).
HTH. If not, and nobody else jumps in, I'll install the files and see what's going on.

Duplicate the NCS Window Schedule and you will have control over those categories, am not sure why you don't have control when duplicating the basic schedule. Something to look into I suppose. Hope this will assist in some way.
