Not by splitting it like you can in plan.

But you can copy and paste a duplicate.

Then adjust the top height of one and the bottom height of the other to the split level that you want.

You may also need to re-assign the correct home storey.

Even if you lower the wall above after copying, the windows above do not disappear.
I asked if it was a function in Revit.
(However, Revit cannot have windows and doors outside the wall like Archie.)

Since there is no answer above, this is a question that came up while I was trying to build a wall by thinking on my own. There is a downside to setting the walls in the stairwell to the 1st to 5th floors, so you can see the top and bottom of the window...
Is it rude to ask here how the walls are usually set up in the stairwell?

Yes you will need to edit the widows as when you copy the wall it copies the windows too.

There is no right or wrong way to model walls in stair wells.

I prefer to go by storey (what you mean by layer?) - a separate wall in each storey.

Great when you have windows entirely within each storey.

But then, if you have a window that spans between those storeys, it can be a problem

You then need the window in one wall and an opening in the other - and they are not linked.

Or you can use a multi-storey wall so you can have just the one window - no need for extra openings.

But as in your other post, when you have separate windows on each storey, you will need to play around with the Floor Plan Display options for those windows so they only display when cut by the Floor Plan Cutting Plane for each storey.

If you use the whole wall, you cannot use the home.

When you copy a wall with windows or doors within it, these windows and doors are also duplicated and if they are set to Sill / Header to Storey they will remain where they are even after you change the host wall to single storey. So you will need to removed these duplicates. You should just be able to select your wall on each storey, isolate in 3D and see the duplicate windows floating outside your now single storey wall.
