Is it possible to integrate an object at the end of a beam, without using end of a beam

Is it possible to attach objects to the outside of the beams, such as metal shoes, without using the GDL system?  The basic question, given that today I have very little help with structural calculation.

Operating system used: Windows 25-28

I would say no.  But... you could add the shoes ( what ever that is) to the beam in several ways.  Show picture of what you would like the beam to look like.
