There is beam tool in the ArchiCAD. I wonder if anyone draw the reinforcement bar inside the beam. May be some detail would be good.

Yes. I have found few .gsm Objects for this purpose.
I tried object e. I can't get the schedule to show the total length of the rebar. Also the object does not display with the hook on the bottom.

Hi Steve,
I made few changes to the object "e.gsm" (now "e_v2.gsm" - you can see Total lenght of the bar when in Edit mode + in the Schedule). Plus I added the Schedule for e_v2.gsm.

That´s a good starting point to modify the other objects in that folder.

. You should use the "c.gsm" for this purpose!

Editing the object "e_v2.gsm":

And the GDL code:
Thanks. I like it!

Almost forgot the most important part, the modifyed object (for AC14+) and the schedule:

Nice little set of objects
But if you need a more advanced reinforcement structure, really check out the eptar Reinfrocement DEMO version, it has just been updated with new display options! And it is quite easy to set even for small projects, in my opinion...

It needs the ROTX, ROTY, ROTZ scripts so it can be placed in more ways. flat for example ( as in corner for continuous footings) or for vertical bars with a bend ( as in a stem wall)

And would it still schedule the entire length including the curve/bend ?

This is no doubt how to do it but I am not getting it to work.
