I inserted this lamp into my ceiling:

As you can see, in the lamp settings, the "3D representation" for this lamp is set to "Detailed".

But for some reason, when I render the image, the lamp disappears:

Why is this happening?
Is this some kind of a ArchiCAD bug?
Thank you for the replies.

I see the lamp, just look closer. The lamp and ceilings are too much of a similar color.

Dennis wrote:Yes, it is there. Try adjusting the lamp's material(s) attributes for LightWorks (assuming you are using LightWorks to render) to get more differentiation from the ceiling material.

I can see it now, too. Sorry. Thank you for all the replies.
But Dwight said an interesting thing, I did not know earlier:
Do I need to "Subtract with downwards extrusion" on each ceiling lamp I have? In order to get a hole in the ceiling?

Depends on how far you recess it.
Why not find out?

Some of my posts my sound lazy to you. But that is only because I do not have an internet connection on PC where I have Archicad installed on it.
As a matter of fact, I do not even have an internet connection at my home, only at local internet cafe.
Why? It's not that cheap, and there are no new switches in the local telecommunication company. May sound funny, but I live in the country of the second world. Rural parts of it are even more devastated.
I will try to check it Dwight.
Thank you for all the help and replies.

I encourage you to try out lamp recess methods once you get back to work … after completing your double expresso and flirting with dark haired women.

Love your sense of humor Dwight!

I do not drink coffee, but I will take your advice on the other thing.
Thank you for the reply, and help, once again.
