Layout book - Selections not working (gravity/magnet)

in my layout settings (the sheets) I can no longer "select" for example the view map that is showing on the layouts.

I can select and use the selection fencing and crossing windows will in the actual view map but when I am in the layout book (sheets) I can no longer use the gravity tool (magnet) nor any of the selection fencing??? I can't believe it.

I've rebooted, started Archicad a few times and nothing......

I did install the Hotfix today and installed the IFC fix patch as well but it was working fine.

Did I do something I shouldn't have? did I accidently "click" on some damn button that I shouldn't have?....

HELP please!!!

wow...if the "grid snap" icon is turned on in the layout books, you cannot use the "magnet/gravity" icon nor the selection fencing function....WTF? is this??

at least the problem was solved from another thread...but man..how freaky is this ???

Is this a bug with the fixes in hotfix or the IFC patches???

no - it's a scale issue. if your grid is set to 2000mm and your layout measures only 840x594mm you're not likely to be able to select it unless it crosses a grid line are you?
